M. Ibrahim Seydi<\/strong> is Managing Director of SAFIC<\/strong> (www.safic-africa.com<\/a>), a financing, investment and consulting company based in Dakar, Senegal and Abidjan, Ivory Coast.<\/p>

M. Seydi<\/strong> is a financial economist specializing in international finance and has conducted numerous feasibility studies and investment advice in the areas of industrial and agricultural expansion, commercial banking and financial sector development, public institutional strengthening and private sector, infrastructure development, telecommunications and information technologies.<\/p>

M. Seydi<\/strong> has organized training programs at the World Bank's Economic Development Institute in Washington, DC, for senior executives of private companies and financial institutions.<\/p>

He worked at the Banque mondiale<\/strong> as an economist and the African Development Bank as a senior financial analyst, primarily responsible for identifying, evaluating and supervising viable private sector projects in 16 African countries. Before joining these international institutions, he was a senior executive at Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale de Banques au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, a leading commercial bank in Senegal.
In addition to his role at SAFIC, Mr. Seydi is the General Director of G\u00e9n\u00e9rale Alimentaire Africaine, but also he is the president<\/strong> of SOCAAS<\/strong> COOPERATIVE SOCIETY OF ACTORS OF AGROPOLE SUD).<\/p>

He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors<\/strong> of several private companies in the fields of energy, agro-industry, biotechnology and construction in West Africa.<\/p>

M. Seydi<\/strong> holds a doctorate<\/strong> in Financial Economics from Atlantic International University, USA, an MSc in Finance and an MSc in Banking Development from American University in Washington, USA , and a degree in agricultural economics from the University of Grenoble, France.<\/p>

He is bilingual<\/strong> in English and French fluent in five African languages \u200b\u200b<\/strong> \u200b\u200band understands Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese. He has traveled extensively in Africa, Asia, the East, Europe and the American continent.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
